Liturgy
All of us live life in rhythms. For some, it’s the rhythm of the workweek, for others the rhythm of a television schedule. At Our Lady of Solitude, the day centers around Mass, and the year centers around the rhythm of feasts and fasts of the Church. By worshiping together, praying together, and celebrating together, girls are invited into deeper, more authentic relationships with each other and with Christ. They are invited to follow the example of Mary, “pondering these mysteries in her heart”.

Classical Education
Many high schools offer a conveyor belt of test preparation or a “rat race” to add meaningless items to a resumé. Our aim, on the contrary, is a joyful immersion in the true, the good, and the beautiful. Because women have a unique role in transmitting culture to future generations, it is essential they have a firm understanding of the Catholic faith, as well as history, nature, literature, mathematics, music, and art.
Home Economics
We hope to nurture in young women a love of hearth and home—the ‘domestic Church’—and a recognition that this realm is worthy of her strength and intelligence. This will require the revival of the lost home arts (cooking, gardening, sewing, and others) to equip young women to manage and provide for the health of themselves and those in their care.
Outdoors
Careful observation of nature and the practical experience of its stewardship awaken wonder and develop attentiveness.
Girls will spend time on a 1.2 acre urban homestead in south Irving with gardens, chickens, bees, and room to add other livestock. The property backs up to the 22-mile Campion Trail, and a hundreds-acre greenbelt that includes the Elm Fork of the Trinity River.

Additionally, girls will complete one week of Outdoor Education, including backpacking, team-building, and star-gazing,
